I composed this Dark Ambient track using tutorials in a recent Computer Music feature. After I'd finished the tutorials, I personalized the track with my own drum sounds, panning of some of the synth sounds, recording a guitar part and finally adding a spoken word sample.

I recorded my Mexican Stratocastor using a modified acoustic guitar preset from my GT-10 effects processor as I think an acoustic guitar sound suits this track, but don't actually have an acoustic guitar. The spoken word sample is a poem by War Poet Robert Graves sampled from a Penguin Educational record I picked at my local record shop/pop culture emporium The Inkwell.

I intend to continue exploring the Dark Ambient genre and things will only get darker.

A lot of the MIDI parts were tutorial files made by Computer Music.

Guitar played and recorded by me.
Track arranged and mixed by me in Ableton Live.
